Staten Island Ferry
Since 1905, the ferry has been transporting people from Staten Island and lower Manhattan. Three ferry boats serve the area. Traveling on the ferry is free of charge; there is a minimal fee for vehicles. Car pools are offered a lower rate. The trip is approximately 25 minutes in length.
